The Man With The Wooden Face Foundation
The Man With The Wooden Face Foundation (TMWTWFF) was formed to create awareness, concern & help for the Victims of Agent Orange. TMWTWFF was founded by Filmmaker James Nguyen on August, 2017 from his documentary short film, The Man With The Wooden Face.
During the Vietnam War, from 1962 to 1971, the United States Military sprayed 20 million gallons of Agent Orange to destroy the vegetation, forest & jungle of Vietnam with the intent to prevent the North Vietnamese Army from seeking refuge. But there were collateral damages. Agent Orange is a toxic herbicide and defoliant chemical which can damage the health of people and it can cause birth defects, cancers & disabilities. 4 million Vietnamese were exposed to Agent Orange. 3 million have suffered health problems: birth defects, cancers, diabetes & disabilities.
James Nguyen is Executive Director and a board member.
